Meet Your Host

JJ DiGeronimo

Founder of Together We Seek Retreats

To increase my impact, I realized that I had to change the way I showed up. It wasn’t just about reading a few books, going to yoga and learning to meditate. I needed to dive into what was holding me back from feeling comfortable in my own skin and believe that I have everything I need to make my impact. I call this: stepping into my light. JJ DiGeronimo, the President of Tech Savvy Women and author of two books, "Accelerate Your Impact” and “The Working Woman’s GPS”, is initiating Together We Seek Retreats to bring women seeking meaning and purpose together. JJ, an advocate for professional women, has been quoted in numerous publications including Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and Fox Business. Her strategies to accelerate women are shared through her articles, YouTube channel, books, and onsite keynotes with women's groups, engineering teams, sales teams and IT groups within many companies including Amazon, Ingram Micro, RIT, Sears Holding Company, IBM, Clemson University, Symantec, VMware, Rockwell Automation, KeyBank, and Cisco along with many other organizations. Her personal desire to create more self-love, acceptance, and impact fostered her excursion to seek, which has taken her from Florida to California to Sedona to New Zealand to Belize. With new levels of perspective and guidance, JJ is now sharing her experiences on ThriveGlobal which has cultivated a more spiritual conversation with professional women endorsing the aspiration of Together We Seek Retreats.

Common Questions

  • What time does the retreat start and end?

The Fall 2019 Together We Seek Retreat starts on Friday, October 11th at 1:30 and ends on Saturday, October 12th at 11:30 AM. We will be staying at two neighboring cottages in Linwood Park, a private residential community located in Vermilion, Ohio.

  • Is there internet access?

There is internet inside the houses, but I encourage you to disconnect for the 24 hours to give yourself some much-needed downtime. Your phone should work as all our guests to date have had no reception problems.

  • What should I bring and how should I prepare?

We suggest that you watch the weather so that you can pack appropriately, but plan on bringing your overnight bag, pajamas, socks, sweaters for the evening, comfortable clothes, a jacket for the beach, walking shoes, outdoor clothes with layers for the day, maybe your pillow (if you love yours), a book, an open heart, and appetite for a connecting! Minimal preparation is needed. I’m more interested that you drive into Linwood with an open mind and loving heart with an interest to connect and have fun.

  • Who else will be there?

We are expecting around 12-16 women to attend the Fall 2019 Together We Seek Retreat.

  • Do I have to participate in the practitioner events if I don’t want to?

You have been drawn to this gathering for a reason and although there is no participation required I hope that you are open to exploring your energy, your current barriers, and your future aspirations.

  • Can I bring something to share?

Sure, you can bring a story, a favorite book, a difficult hurdle you want to overcome and work that into your conversation while we are together or favorite food. I do not plan to ask what people brought but you are welcome you to share it as you see fit throughout the time we are together.

  • What if I have food allergies?

If you have food allergies, send us an email after you register so that the private chef can accommodate your dietary restricitons.

  • What if I don’t like the activities or conversation?

You are always welcome to take a walk, explore, or even go back to your room. This is a time for you to rejuvenate and if you feel that stepping away is best for you, please listen to your inner voice.
